Dear Lisa is a CD slideshow with text, graphics, and music. It presents the universalist interpretation of the Bible in a powerful and easy-to-understand way, refuting the false doctrine of eternal hell and sharing the Gospel of hope for all people. This multimedia presentation comes in the form of a CD minidisc that plays in most computers, without the need to download or install any software. The minidisc includes a 20 minute slideshow as well as the full text of a couple dozen articles on Christian Universalism and related subjects. Peter Hardt got the idea for Dear Lisa when he overheard somebody in his office telling a co-worker that her recently deceased father was going to "burn in hell forever" because he was not a Christian. Peter resolved to create this CD and give it to Lisa so that she could learn the true Biblical teachings about salvation and hell -- so that she would not be left with the tragic impression that Christianity teaches a God of cruelty and infinite wrath. When Peter finished making the CD and played the slideshow for Lisa, he says she was moved to tears as she watched, by its wonderful message that even her father who died an unbeliever can and will be saved, because God is Love and the Bible assures us of His promise to reconcile all things in the fullness of time. Peter has decided to make this minidisc available free of charge to anyone who wants a copy. We are happy to offer this to the readers of Christian-Universalism.com as a service of educational outreach, and so that Peter's excellent work can be more widely distributed.
