I came across this website [Christian-Universalism.com] during one of my many inquiries on "hell." I have been raised under Baptist beliefs and always have been interested in this place called hell where the unrepentant souls are said to burn eternally. I'm 21 years old and as far as I can remember I've always thought of fellow Christians around me to be so insistent that those who are lost will suffer for eternity, but they never seemed to have any really good reasoning behind this. Sure they would immediately quote the Bible's teaching of hell, but your website makes a few very good points about the TRUE origin of hell. The Bible is a very old book and it has clearly been changed throughout the centuries. Just look at all the different versions of it. It is like when you whisper something into someone's ear and they whisper to it to another person, then they whisper to another person and so on. What happens? The original message whispered ends up being different and a lot of times things will be added to it that weren't originally there. I must admit that I am quite impressed with your research on this matter. I plan on reading this over a few more times because I want to really absorb what is written here. I also plan to take this information to a few churches and discuss this with some of the pastors to see what they have to say about it. I'm pretty sure I already know what they will say, but I think the information written here will make for a tough debate. I thank you again for providing this website and I will be sure to tell friends and family about this so they too can make their own decisions based on what is written here. Chris
